I love this game, played it many times

Hi, would you please be able to make this accessible with screen readers where you can pick choises from a menu or such? I don't know if dragging and dropping tokens is accessible.

really cool. it's like sort the court but with an actual strategy. wish it was longer tho

very cute!! chasing down endings is a fun way to spend an hour. only the fact that this was made in 7 days prevents me from assuming there are more hidden endings. stacking personality traits is absolutely the most fun part, and I love that a shiny payment gives you a double trait. that only being relevant for like 1/3 of traits and the possible infinite (?) expansion of the token box possible from particular combinations makes it feel even more fun bc it's something that feels unintended, even though... it definitely was intended. I also really like how Death starts to call you his old friend after the first few deaths.

in my dream version of this game there's more persisting effects from previous actions, that maybe track which character you're playing (like, does seducing death in one life have an unintended bad effect on future death behaviour? if you bribe that cop enough times do they give in??... probably not.)

I had a lot of fun, thanks for sharing :3

if you think about it, there's a hypothetical missing character. one that represents the strength token.

Hi, I am a blind person. Is there a possibility you might be able to make this accessible for screen readers? For example, I use NVDA on windows. if I press spacebar on "play tutorial" when arrowing up and down to it, I hear a sound, but then nothing seems to happen. The way it could work in accessibility mode is, the choice will be said, it'll say how much tokens it'll cost and you press space/click it normally to activate the choice without having to use drag and drop. For blind players on PC, we often use the keyboard, using either space bar or enter to activate links or items in text-based games.

I really admire developers that take a non-violent approach like this to their game's design. I had a lot of fun playing this, and appreciate having been given the opportunity.

As I played through, I jotted down some ideas I had for suggestions and possible improvements:

  • Some encounters leave you with no choice but to use health tokens, as they don't appear with the right types of tokens that match the ones you actually have.
    • This makes the odds feel a bit unfairly stacked against the player sometimes, especially when they have a lot of other types of tokens that they should have been able to use.
  • I played through 4 games before writing these notes (once for each character type) and most of the time, I lost at the final encounter, simply by running out of tokens. It requires a hefty amount, and usually by then I was low on tokens, so could only proceed partway before having to substitute everything with health tokens.
    • Maybe reduce those final encounters to requiring 1 or even 2 fewer tokens overall? It can be challenging enough just reaching the end encounter sometimes, depending on how events played out up till that point.
  • The font sizes for most of the text in the main dialog box and the tooltips felt a little too small for my liking at 1920x1080 with the download version. An option to adjust it would be nice, or just a larger size by default.

Overall though, this was a fantastic experience that works quite well, felt unique and refreshing, and encourages repeat play sessions to boot. Thank you for making and sharing this wonderful game.

I seem to have found two bugs while playing the game online. Playing as Akili, the character of the wisdom token, I try using their special ability Bring Me Joy. I did when I am looking at the map before decide where I am going, and this seems to confuse the game. I can click on thinks, but nothing seems to make the game move forward.

Also I have incidents were I placed a token. Change my mind so I so I took the token out, then change my mind again and try place the token back. I cannot seem to be able to place same token back once I have taken it out of a slot choice. I can use a different token of the same type no problem. But I can use a token that I place on a choice, put back in pool, and try placing back on the same choice slot.
